Change your air filters now!

Have you noticed your AC working harder than it should be? Are your allergy prone family members having more difficulty breathing indoors?  You may be in need of an HVAC filter changed!

Your HVAC unit works in one way by pulling outside air in and either heating or cooling it before it blows out of your vents.   Your HVAC filter is the only thing keeping dust, pollen and other outdoor allergens from becoming unwanted guests in your home.

The HVAC filter traps all of the common pollutants coming in from the outside before it enters your home. If you or any of your family members, including pets suffer from allergies it is imperative that you change your filters about once a month.  Your filter is working hard to trap the allergens and other particles in the air.  When you neglect to change it, it gets clogged and fails to work properly, thus not filtering the air as it should.

When your air filter is clogged, your HVAC unit does not run efficiently thus leading to higher energy bills and possible problems with your unit.  Avoid wasting money and potential repairs by changing your filters.

There are many options of filters but if you have allergies should look for a micro allergen filter.  Allergen filters have a higher Micropartical Performance Rating (MPR) and are designed to take a larger amount of particles out of the air before entering your home.  These filters are imperative to the well being of any allergy sufferer in your home.

You should change your filters with the change of seasons. If for any reason you cannot remember the last time you changed them, you need to change your air filters now!
